Location: Office-based, Birmingham

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Salary: £26,500 per annum

About the role

As a Booking Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring interpreters are allocated efficiently so that vital appointments go ahead as planned. You will receive full training and ongoing support, making this an ideal entry-level role with progression opportunities.


Key responsibilities


Coordinating and booking interpreters for client appointments


Communicating with clients and interpreters by phone and email


Ensuring all bookings are covered accurately and on time


Building professional relationships with clients and linguists


Managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment


Handling high volumes of calls and emails professionally


What we’re looking for


Educated to A-Level or degree level (or equivalent)


Strong communication and organisational skills


A professional and confident telephone manner


Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities


A positive attitude and willingness to learn


Previous customer service or call-handling experience is beneficial but not essential
